A little bit about me

Currently finishing up my bachelors in music therapy, I'm an educated and bright caretaker who absolutely adores children. Roles that involve supervising and maintaining the safety of little-ones have always been my absolute favorite experiences. Its more fun than work through my eyes. I've been lucky enough to have had many opportunities and experiences which provided me with extensive knowledge of child development and proper care procedures, applicable to newborn infants all the way to children up to age 15. Trusting your children with an outsider, regardless of training, is still an unnerving and vulnerable experience, and due to this, I believe in accommodating to parent and family needs at any means necessary to prevent any hesitance or questioning that your children will receive anything less than positive and safe nanny time before they return to their wonderful parents.

My experience with special needs children...

As part of my clinical practicum experiences, I have assessed, planned, and implemented therapy services for elementary and middle school aged children who were diagnosed with Developmental, Intellectual, and Behavioral/Emotional disabilities. I maintained consistent communication with other professionals and staff such as a supervising therapist, the school counselor, teaching staff, and parents, during the entire duration of my work. In addition, I also have worked as a ChildCareAide for several daycare facilities who enrolled children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Downs Syndrome, and ADHD, to be placed under my care during their hours at the daycare.
