Hi, my name is Christy Mauney. I am married and have a fourteen month old girl. Taking care of young children has always been a big part of my life ever since I was a teenager. I have a bachelor's degree in early childhood education. I have worked at childcare center/preschool for over four years, and than recently I have been a nanny to three young children. I am looking for a family that would have me care for their children in my home along with my baby. I feel like this would be a great opportunity for children to be able to socialize and learn to share, but still receive private care. I would take them to the park and library reading days, and other outings as well as provide activities and art exploration experiences.

I worked at a childcare center for almost three years in Philadelphia, PA, as the lead infant teacher/administrative assistant, till I moved to GA and got married. I cared for 8 babies from ages 6weeks to 1 years old with the help of my assistant. I did music time, story hour, and engaged with the babies one on one to help them along in their development. I than was a nanny for three children, mostly just caring for the one year old while the other two were at school. Than she got older and I had my own baby.
