More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I’ve loved caring for children for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I was always the go-to babysitter in my family, and I truly enjoyed spending time with the little ones. In middle school, I volunteered at the Boys and Girls Club, where I helped the director serve breakfast and snacks and assisted with field days, field trips, and different activities. Later on, I cared for my uncle’s two kids, ages 1 and 3, full-time for a year and also watched my aunt’s children, ages 7 months and 11 years, during the evenings/nights. Then I stepped in to care for three children from my fiancés family. We took on the full routine from getting them to and from two different schools, attending after-school programs, preparing meals and snacks, helping with homework, and managing bedtime routines. Now, I’m a full-time stay-at-home mommy to my beautiful 3-month-old daughter, and it’s been the most rewarding experience yet. Watching her grow and learn brings me so much joy.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love doing anything that helps children learn, grow, and have fun. I enjoy working with them on developing new skills and milestones. Whether it’s tummy time and sensory play for babies, or early learning activities like colors, shapes, and reading for toddlers. I love singing songs, playing interactive games, and doing arts and crafts. I also enjoy getting out and exploring like visiting the zoo, aquarium, museums, parks, or community events around town.

The most important part about being a nanny...

For me, the most important part about being a nanny is giving children the kind of care, love, and attention that helps them feel safe and supported. When parents are working, I believe they deserve someone who will care for their children as closely as they would, with the same love, patience, and understanding. It’s about being someone the children can count on, the person who celebrates their milestones, comforts them when they’re upset, and encourages them as they learn and grow. I believe children thrive when they’re surrounded by consistency, warmth, and kindness. Being part of their little everyday moments like the giggles, discoveries, and even the tough days, is such a special privilege. Knowing I can make a positive difference in their world is what makes being a nanny so meaningful to me.

The most important part about being a nanny...

With my uncle’s kids, one of the most memorable moments was when the youngest took her very first steps. Being there to witness that milestone and record/FaceTime my uncle and aunt was unforgettable.
