I have experience tutoring children of all ages as well as college students of all ages. Growing up as the eldest child and grandchild, I’ve been babysitting for as long as I can remember. I am a passionate teacher and learner. I enjoy engaging with children through educational means. I enjoy introducing children to new skills such as painting or coloring, reading, or building, practicing math problems in real life scenarios or playing imaginary games such as my cousins favorite: “grocery store”. Depending on their capabilities, I would encourage them to cook and clean as entertaining ways to care for themselves. I would be excited to figure out their interests and engage with them in ways they enjoy.

The most important part about being a nanny is being a dependable and trustworthy resource for parents. Children have many required needs to be met and it is a nanny’s responsibility to lend a helping hand while parents are preoccupied with work or personal matters.

I was once babysitting for a family who had a pregnant dog give birth. It was such chaos at first gathering supplies to make the dog and puppies comfortable. The children and I geared into action. It was so fun to see them so excited.
