My experience with special needs children...

I have years of experience working during the summer with my cousin, who is a non-verbal autistic adult male. He has been my introduction to the challenging, yet extremely rewarding world of working with special needs kids and adults. I also babysat for a professor who has two children with autism, both under the age of 10. Her son had limited social and emotional regulation skills but was otherwise very high functioning, while her younger daughter had more needs. I love working with specially-abled kids and adults, and would love to connect if this is your situation!
