A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Clara Head, and I am finishing my freshman year at UGA. I have three sisters, so I have been babysitting pretty much my whole life. My neighborhood is also filled with young kids who I have babysat since middle school! It has been so much fun to watch them grow up. I also love animals! My family has also fostered over 150 dogs from animal shelters, which was very challenging but something I am very proud of. In high school, I was the director of the Best Buddies program. This is a program for children with special needs designed to help students form relationships with students from general education classrooms and special education classrooms. I am now pursuing a degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders in the College of Education at UGA. I am hoping to become a speech pathologist or work in health care for children with disabilities.
