I’ve had the opportunity to care for children with special needs, and it’s been a very rewarding part of my experience. I've worked with children who have autism and sensory processing challenges, focusing on creating a calm, supportive environment and adapting activities to meet their individual needs. I always aim to be patient, consistent, and encouraging, while closely following any routines or care plans provided by parents or therapists. I'm also open to learning and working closely with families to provide the best support possible.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was when a little boy I cared for took his first steps while I was with him. His parents had been working hard to encourage him, and it was such a joy to capture that milestone and share it with them. Moments like that remind me how special it is to be part of a child’s growth and development.
