I have worked at APS (Albuquerque Public Schools) for three years, I have also cared for friends kids and family since the age of 15.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Indoor activities I like are board games such as scramble and monopoly, reading time is my favorite activate especially on sunny days to read outside and soak in the sun. Outside activities would be playing tag, playing with chalk, (if allowed) and whatever they wish to play!
The most important part about being a nanny...
Building a friendship and relationship with not just the kids but the parents as well. Creating a trusting and a loving environment for your children. Have them see you not just as their nanny, but a friend and someone they can trust.
