A little bit about me

My name is Cloey. I am a 31 year-old daycare teacher of many years. I have 19 nieces and nephews, I was a nanny for 5 children and I currently babysit for many wonderful families! I do birthday babysitting, group babysitting, weddings, occasional weekends and more. I believe every child learns through play and growth! I look forward to helping your child/children learn, grow and be both happy and to make our time together successful and meaningful! I have wonderful references upon request. I am looking M,T,W, M,W,F. I am not opposed to 4-5 days with the occasional later days as needed however, i am looking for a schedule that would be something like 7:30-3:30 or [phone number hidden] or 3/35 hours is what would be great but I am open to less days and more hours ect. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a Lead daycare teacher at many daycares as well as a camp counselor in the summer. I was a twos teacher for years and a floater when I first became a teacher which allowed me to work with all different ages! I have worked with newborns, premies, twins, elementary aged children, children with special needs as well as adults. I currently babysit for many families.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love art projects and the really messy and creative projects and my favorite! I also love to create DIY projects using different objects and especially nature! I enjoy baking, the pool, zoo, parks, sports, board games and so much more! I have also been dancing for years so you will often catch me singing and dancing and your children may as well:) I also have a love for animals and fostering!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Every child is different and every child is unique! I love watching each child learn something new each day but I also learn from them daily! I love coming in and feeling the love and trust from the child/children as their parents! It’s all about the small moments that create the big memories and great outcomes! It also doesn’t matter if I am going through something or just having a bad day or not feeling well because the moment that I see those smiling faces, my entire day turns around, and I am so grateful! Being able to be a part of a child’s life and their growth and development is an absolute blessing!

My experience with special needs children...

I have worked with children who have different types of needs and I am always willing to learn and work with their family in order for them to make sure everyone is comfortable and on the same page. Communication is key! Happiness and love is the most important part of working with all people but to have more patience and going above and beyond for our friends who may need that extra bit, is where people like myself step in:) ensuring families know I will always put the safety and well being of their children first!

The most important part about being a nanny...

My heart truly melts when children do not want me to leave and we build such a wonderful bond. I have worked at daycares with children who came to me as babies. I often keep in touch with many of my families and see my previous students and although they are much older, they always remember me and share stories about their time in my classroom and this was when they were 2-3 and now many of them are 10-12! One little boy and I had a very close relationship and his family was like family. I moved away for a couple of years and when he found out I was leaving he cried, and I cried, and he promised me that he would be waiting till the day came back. I came back and he said “Miss Cloey, you came back! I looked at the moon every night and prayed you’d come back” I have many parents who have said to me once I was no longer their children’s teacher that their kids struggled so I truly believe that I have a gift and I really love what I do and I truly feel like I can make a huge impact!
