More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have extensive childcare and youth experience working with children from infancy through high school. As a Before and After School Program Coordinator, I supported children ages 4 to 12 by planning activities, supervising groups, assisting with homework, guiding behavior, maintaining safety, and communicating with parents. At Greenwood Academy Montessori School, I worked as a toddler and infant teacher, providing nurturing hands-on care including feeding, diapering, naps, and age-appropriate learning while supporting emotional and developmental growth. I also collaborated closely with families and staff to meet individual needs. Additionally, as the main office secretary at Bozeman High School, I worked daily with students ages 13 to 18, managing front office operations, records, attendance, and serving as a calm, organized, and supportive presence in a fast-paced school environment.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love keeping kids engaged through a mix of creativity, movement, and calm routines. Some of my favorite activities include arts and crafts, imaginative play, reading together, outdoor play, and simple games that encourage teamwork and problem-solving. I also enjoy helping with homework, cooking or baking easy recipes, and creating consistent routines that help kids feel safe and confident. I focus on activities that are fun, age-appropriate, and supportive of each child’s interests and development.

The most important part about being a nanny...

To me, the most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, trusting, and nurturing environment where children feel seen, heard, and valued. Being a nanny is about more than supervision. It is about building strong relationships, offering consistency, and supporting each child’s emotional, physical, and developmental needs. I strive to be a calm, reliable presence who encourages curiosity, kindness, and confidence, while working closely with families to support their values and routines.

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience working with children with special needs and take pride in providing patient, compassionate, and individualized care. I focus on creating a supportive and structured environment that meets each child where they are, while encouraging independence, confidence, and emotional regulation. I work closely with families and educators to follow established routines, accommodations, and behavioral supports, and I approach every child with respect, empathy, and a strengths-based mindset. My goal is always to help children feel safe, understood, and empowered to succeed in their own way.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nannying moments was introducing my nanny child to horses for the first time. She was just three years old, and watching her quiet down, observe, and become completely mesmerized was incredibly special. She asked thoughtful questions, gently reached out to touch them, and stayed fully engaged the entire time. Seeing her curiosity, confidence, and connection grow in that moment reminded me how meaningful it is to share new experiences with children and help spark a sense of wonder in the world around them.
