A little bit about me

Are you looking for a summer childcare provider who is MORE THAN JUST A BABYSITTER?  As a professional educator, Mother, and Grandmother who has extensive experience working with children ranging in ages from elementary school to high school, I offer a unique opportunity to provide childcare for your son or daughter (siblings are welcome) in a loving, educational, creative, fun, musical, and emotionally supportive environment.

ABOUT ME
I love children and the happiest moments in my life have been spent with my children, playing games, making meals in the kitchen together, singing and dancing to all different kinds of music, and reading books. I have always felt that being a Mother is my first and foremost calling in life.

I have 10+ years experience working with children and young adults with learning challenges and disabilities in the Mount Diablo Unified School District (MDUSD).  I have also worked as a Teacher’s Assistant in the Resource Center assisting students in a great many areas of learning.  I am CPR and First Aid Trained.  I maintain all necessary background clearances needed to be employed by the MDUSD.

I live in a home filled with music, stories, games, learning, and cooking!  My home is a large, airy, and open space with a grand, inviting backyard.  My home is steps away from the Park at Limeridge Open Space. 

SPECIAL NEEDS EXPERIENCE
I have extensive experience working with children with ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and many other physical and cognitive disabilities. 

SUMMER CURRICULUM
I believe that summer childcare should be more than just babysitting.  It should be an opportunity for children to try new things, learn new skills, laugh, sing, dance & be happy.  Whatever your child’s interests may be; together we can create a summer program that will provide a well rounded schedule filled with fun and learning tailored to your child’s wants and needs.

AVAILABILTY
I am available June 18 - August 15; with the exception of Friday June 22nd.
