The most important part about being a nanny...
Patience and safety You can get through any situation with patience! That and safety, everything else is secondary. If you give yourself a moment to think, breathe and come up with a plan, the most stressful situations suddenly become surmountable. Safety is key. That’s why I always keep a close eye on the little ones and make sure to follow up to date best practices when it comes to sleep, mealtime and play.

I have experience with autistic and Down syndrome children as well as other neurodivergencies. Very experienced with dietary limitations.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moment is always hearing ‘I love you’ for the first time! Secure and positive bonding with caregivers is so important to childhood development. I’m always proud to be a trusted and loved adult in a child’s life.
Another favorite moment was hearing ‘I hope I remember you forever, even when I grow up.’ I was blown away at the self awareness shown by the child. It just goes to show that children understand a lot more than we may give them credit for, so we should strive to make every day special and memorable for them.
