A little bit about me

Hi, my name is Katie. I’m a mother of 2. My daughter is 15 and loves everything theater related, and my son is 13 and he’s into 3d printing at the moment.
I started working with young children when I was 19. From 19 to 24 I worked with both infants and toddlers. After my second child was born I took some time off from caring for children and worked for a family member while I raised my children.
In 2021, I went back to work and started with children aged 0 to 6 years.
When a better opportunity presented itself I then became a behavioral technician for children 2 to 5 years old with special needs.
Watching children learn a new skills, gain confidence, or overcome a challenge is incredibly rewarding.
When Children find excitement in the simplest things, it can instantly lift your mood and remind you to appreciate all the small moments. They definitely keep things unpredictable, creative, and keep you full of surprises.
