A little bit about me

I grew up in Georgia. After high school, I cared for the children of two families. I still keep in contact with both families and have shared in their milestones as they've grown. During the same time frame, I also worked in our church nursery caring for newborns and infants.
I eventually married and have three children of my own. My oldest daughter is a junior in college. I also have a daughter graduating from high school, and she will be attending college in the fall as well. My son is the youngest; he will be a sophomore in high school this fall.
It's been a welcome form of "busy" guiding my kids -- and the children I've cared for, participating in their accomplishments and falling back as they have gained their independence.
We have years ahead before our home is full of little ones, but I've enjoy all the stages. I'm grateful for the families that have shared a part of their lives with me, and truly thankful for connections and support many of us still have.
