I cared for children in a daycare for a year. I worked in each age group for a good bit of time. Therefore, I have experience with all. I currently substitute for Habersham County schools. Growing up, I would be the one who would babysit on date nights. I also substituted for a semester for a first grade classroom in high school.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love all activities. Them being arts and crafts, outside time, shopping, going out for ice cream and even sitting down and doing a coloring book. Periodically, I will do experiments just to change it up. I always want the child/ children to have a great time when Im around.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moment is not a nanny moment. Its being when I started working at a daycare, a 3 month old baby got enrolled. I cared for him most days and watched him grow and learn new skills. I was with him the day he took his first steps as he walked to me. Definitely a moment worth crying for!
