I am an exceptional caregiver with over 30 years experience. My most important, impactful role has been that of motherhood. My four daughters range in age from 4 to 15. I have been a Kindergarten teacher for 20 years but have since left the classroom, seeking a more meaningful position. One in which I can provide the care that parents are seeking, but is difficult to find. My own children have never even had a babysitter before because I have not felt trusting of someone outside of our family. I have also worked as a nanny and in daycares during college so I understand fully how important this role is. My daughters are growing up and I am seeking a position caring for infants or toddlers because I miss this age in development so much. I will renew my first aid and CPR certification, which has since expired. I have a clean driving record, do not smoke, vape, or use inappropriate language. I am a certified teacher in the state of Florida, for grades Kindergarten-6th. I have taught Kindergarten for 20 years in SWFL. I also have K-12 endorsements in Reading and ESOL/English Language Learners. I have a Bachelors of Science in Early Childhood and Elementary Education, graduating from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania in 2005. During college, I worked in daycares, babysat, and immediately after graduating, I worked as a nanny for a family of three in Ohio. Most importantly, I am a mother to four daughters and that has been the most rewarding role of my life. My oldest daughter has Type 1 Diabetes so I'm experienced with children who have autoimmune disorders or health concerns. I also have experience working with children who have anxiety, limited English proficiency, developmental delays, learning disabilities, ADHD, Autism, emotional dysregulation, allergies, etc. I have continued to babysit over the years so I'm still very comfortable working in someone else's home.
