More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I worked for 4 1/2 years as a Lead Infant Teacher in a daycare setting. During this time I completed my CDA and am also First Aide and CPR certified. I am currently a personal nanny to 3 children under 10. I am also a mom of 2 boys 13 and 10.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Being creative is my passion. I love all forms of creative expression meaning art, building legos and blocks, reading and imaginary play are a rainy day must! I have a passion for cooking and love helping the kid’s explore and learn in the kitchen. Kids are naturally curious and I just enjoy being around such excitement and joy.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Ohh I have to say the most important part of being a nanny is being present. I work very hard each day to make meaningful connections and memories. I also recognize how important communication between myself and the parents is. Overall the most important thing is showing up each day and making it count. Following thru on words spoken to a child is the most important because that is where a healthy relationship starts.

My experience with special needs children...

My experience with special needs is extensive as my oldest is diagnosed with Autism. I also currently take care of a child who has been diagnosed ADHD/ADD. These diagnosis’s are extremely hard to navigate around but with love, dedication and education anything is possible.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Wow, my favorite moment I have so many. I do have to say the feeling of leaving each day and knowing I gave my all to the children in my care is my favorite moment. When they ask if I am “coming tomorrow “ and they are genuinely excited when I say “yes” that’s my favorite moment. It means I did my job for the day and tomorrow is full of possibilities.
