I am 22 years old and have worked in childcare for almost 4 years now. I watched ages 1-12 but was a main teacher for the 1 1/2-3 year olds. I currently work at a daycare full time, Just Like Home Childcare, in Fayetteville Arkansas, but I am really trying to get out of the daycare atmosphere and work more personally with children. My husband and I have been married for almost two years now. I enjoy a lot of outside time, arts and crafts, working on motor skills, and dance parties! I know a lot of curriculum and am really good with schedules if needed. I’m trustworthy, a hard worker, and loyal. The most important part about being a nanny...

Being an adult who the child feels safe with, trusts, and has a lot of patience. Connecting not only with the children but with the parents/family as well. Being able to relieve parents of stress or worry is the best feeling. To know their child is safely taken care of is one of the top things I hope to always achieve when watching children.

I think it’s always my favorite when I walk in and they yell my name and run for a hug. Thats when I really feel like I’ve allowed that child/children to feel safely and comfortable.
Watching them learn something brand new and being there when it finally clicks in their little brains.
