I’m currently going to NWACC as a stepping stone to my dream career, elementary education! I’ve wanted to be a teacher since I can remember! I can only work Monday Wednesday Friday because of my school schedule.
I have been babysitting since I was 14 years old and have been caring for my two younger sisters for 16 years! I am currently a preschool teacher right now and I woke with ages 6 weeks - 5 years! I love kids and care for them as if they were my own!

I'm a 24 year old & a mommy of a 2 year old boy. I use to take care of 2 small little girls one was 2 and the other was 3. My hours with the girls was from 7am to 4pm. And my daily routine for me with them was have their breakfast ready for them before they wake up once they had their breakfast i would shower them both. Go out for a walk stop at the park for play time get back home give them a snack and tjen they would take a nap. While they nap i would prepare food for them to eat once they had awken from nap time. I also have experience with my nephews also small babies. I've only worked with children from the age of 5 months to 3 year olds but im open to new experiences.

I started babysitting when I was twelve years old for an older couple that had adopted two children (Emily, a 4 month old and Sam, a 1 yr old). I babysat Sam and Emily till I moved away to college 6 yrs. later. I also baby sat for a family with three boys (Sam-2, Jacob-4, and Nick-6) for several years. I mostly babysat them (and sometimes there cousins) for the parent’s date nights, but I occasionally would come play with the boys all day while their mom ran errands or cleaned the house. I also went to their family reunion with them and was the "nanny" for all the children at the reunion for the entire week. I consistently babysat these two families throughout my junior high and high school year. It was a joy to serve these families and to watch their children grow and develop. I loved playing with the boys outside and getting dirty with them or watching movies and eating popcorn as a treat before they went to bed. Helping them to discover new things in life and to use their creative talents was a delight for me. I also babysat for countless other families off and on, or whenever they needed me when their regular babysitter was unavailable. Summer 2009 I was a nanny for a 4 month little girl. She was the light of my life that summer as I got to be there to watch her grow, learn to hold her head up and crawl. I had fun coming up with new things to do with her and loved bringing books and stuffed animals for her. In college, I have babysat for several professors and faculty members throughout the school year.

Hello, I am a energetic young woman who loves kids. I am currently taking this year off of college just to figure out what I want to do with my future. The greatest thing to me about children is that not only do you teach them how to love, show kindness, and compassion but they teach you along the way as well!

Understand Nanny Responsibilities in Rogers, AR

Before beginning the search for a nanny, it’s important to understand what you’re looking for and if a nanny is the right choice for your child care needs. In hiring a nanny, first, you should think through what responsibilities you expect your nanny to handle. With that information, you can create a profile so that nannies can reach out to you. The boundaries for nannies duties vary from family to family. In general, a nanny is responsible for making sure your children’s needs are met, including things like ensuring they have opportunities to play and be active. When tasks go beyond child care, for example, housekeeping or meal preparation, it’s good practice to communicate these expectations with your nanny before hiring them. Along with the different duties that you ask for, experience and location can impact how much you should pay your nanny.

Rogers Nanny Interviews

Once you start connecting with prospective nannies, the next step is a nanny interview. To make things a bit easier, here’s a list of some nanny interview questions to consider asking:

  • Do you have experience being a nanny?
  • How do you handle tantrums? Can you share an experience disciplining children?
  • What sort of household tasks are you open to doing?
  • Are you open to a live in arrangement in Rogers? Do you have experience being a live in nanny?
  • Are you open to being a nanny in a nanny share?
  • Do you have any references?
  • Are you trained in First Aid or CPR in Rogers?
  • Do you have a driver’s license in AR? Do you own a car?
  • What salary are you seeking? Are you open to being paid through direct-deposit, pay stubs?
  • What are your expectations around over-time pay and vacation time?

During the hiring process, it’s essential to ask for references, and by asking their references questions you gain a better understanding of they will fit in your family. As you get closer to hiring a nanny, be sure to run a background check to ensure your kids are in good hands. When evaluating a prospective nanny, it’s essential to make sure you’re setting the foundation for a good relationship with your nanny. You can do this by being clear about your expectations around nanny responsibilities and compensation, and of course, by being friendly and welcoming! And of course, as you learn how to hire a nanny, Nanny Lane's nanny services are here to help you along the way.
