A little bit about me

Hi! I’m a mom to two little girls one is four and the other is 18 months so I’m in the thick of the baby and toddler stage myself and truly love it. Being a parent has only strengthened my love for working with kids and helped me really understand how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your child. I’ve worked as a private nanny for over five years and for the past few years I’ve been running my own in-home daycare. I’ve cared for kids of all ages and have a lot of experience creating routines, planning engaging activities, and keeping things running smoothly throughout the day. Before that, I was in nursing school, which gave me a strong foundation in health and safety and I’m CPR and First Aid certified as well. Now that my family is relocating, I’m looking to return to nannying so I can focus on building strong, personal connections with one family. I truly care about creating a warm, loving environment where kids feel safe, supported, and excited to learn.

I have over five years of experience as a private nanny and currently operate my own in-home daycare. I also was an in home hospice nurse for three years. However, due to an upcoming relocation, I’m looking to transition back into nannying so I can provide more personalized care and attention to individual families.

Some of my favorite activities to do with kids include playing outside, getting creative with arts and crafts, building forts, having fun dance parties, and taking trips to the park. I love keeping things playful, active, and engaging!

To me, the most important part of being a nanny is building a trusting, loving bond with both the child and the family. Kids thrive when they feel safe, seen, and supported and that connection is the foundation for everything else.

One of my favorite moments as a nanny is when families text me because the kids are asking how my weekend is going or want a picture of what I’m up to. It means so much to know they miss me and are thinking about me, it really makes me feel like part of the family. Knowing they’re excited to see me again always makes my day.
