The most important part about being a nanny...

One sunny afternoon, while the leaves were falling, little Emma and I decided to do some leaf rubbings. We grabbed some paper and crayons, and soon, we had a bunch of colorful leaf patterns.
Out of nowhere, Emma pointed to one and yelled, "Look, Nanny! This one looks like a dragon!" We spent the next hour making up stories about a dragon that lived in the leaves and its adventures with a brave girl named Emma.
By the end of the day, we had a whole bunch of dragon stories and leaf rubbings. Emma's excitement was contagious, and it reminded me how magical a child's imagination can be.
