A little bit about me

Hello!
I am in my mid 40's. I absolutely love working with children and their families. I have over 27 years of experience in the childcare field. I have been a Professional Nanny and for the last 20. I added House Manager to my skill set 11 years ago.
I have a lot of experience with infants, toddlers, young children and even teenagers. I prefer to try to include learning with everything we do. I've learned so many ways to make learning feel like games. If I can engage all of their senses with plenty of giggles, then they don't even notice they're learning. Brain building doesn't have to be with paper at a table. I've also worked with many children who had disabilities or were neurodivergent. Another thing I love about being a Nanny is getting to help the whole family. I've found that if I take some of the cleaning and cooking tasks, then parents can spend more time with the kids. I think spending time together with their parents is very important to a child's development.
