Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I'm open to anything the children enjoy structured and age appropriate games art activities they enjoy outdoors. I don't force anyone to do things that don't interest them. As long as it's fun and safe for them. And ok with the parents. Children can be their own individuals I don't try to change that.

The most important part about being a nanny...

It matters how I project myself in difficult situations. My mood and mannerisms will show positive and negative. I don't want the children to feel uncomfortable or worried about what kind of mood I'm in. Also it's important to explain things to them in a patient and caring way. No matter what's going on. I don't like yelling and screaming. It's important to listen so they will learn to listen when you need them to. I understand nobody can be perfect in handling situations. As long as everyone tries the best they can.

The most important part about being a nanny...

When I was a live-in nanny for two school Age girls. I was in my twenties going to junior college. I got to spend a lot of time with them and I had great experiences laughing and being silly. One day we decided to walk two blocks to the pet store and buy supplies for their hamster. So I let them go in roller skates. It was safe with big sidewalks and I held their hands all the way. We finally got to the store and I was lost looking for the hamster food. I stopped and leaned up against something. Suddenly they froze with opened mouth. It was a giant glass case for a black fully grown python. I'm terrified of them. I ran screaming and crying in the store. They laughed so hard and shared it with everyone.
