Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have successfully raised and home educated ( till high school) 5 of my own children, had a small daycare business in my home for 17 yrs.
All children started as young infants😊
I also watched 4 of my 5 grandchildren until they were of school age.
I am also employed part time at my church. I am over the infant nursery (0-1yr)😊

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Depends on the age.
I am not a big fan of screen time, unless the child is of preschool age, and isn’t feeling well that day.
Otherwise, I think all activities ( even everyday meal preparation and simple chores) are part of the learning process.
I always want to instill the love of learning! Reading books, doing crafts, coloring, going to the library at least once a week, going to parks such as splash pads and playgrounds! I love to take walks with them, till they can ride their own trike, bike or scooter. Learning life skills can be fun!😊

My experience with special needs children...
My youngest child went blind in his dominant eye( a very rare condition). And at 8 was diagnosed on the Spectrum. He was highly intelligent and leaned more towards the Asperger end of the spectrum. He is now 22. Has a wonderful full time job! But what a learning curve that was!!😊
