I enjoy sensory play, Montessori activities, outdoor walks, reading together, music and movement, and simple art projects. I also love taking children on age-appropriate outings—like parks, libraries, nature trails, and kid-friendly events—to help them explore their world. Social-emotional learning is a big part of my care style, so I include activities like mood check-ins, feeling games, gentle communication practice, and routines that build confidence and independence.

The most important part about being a nanny is loving the children deeply and showing up for them with patience, joy, and consistency. I believe children grow best when they feel safe, valued, and genuinely cared for, so I focus on building warm, trusting relationships where they know they are loved just as they are. I worked as an in-home caregiver for a nonverbal 17-year-old with Down syndrome, autism, and a feeding tube, providing patient, structured, and medically-informed care. I’ve completed RBT coursework, which strengthened my skills in behavior support, communication strategies, and routine-building. As a Social Work major, I integrate trauma-informed and strengths-based approaches into my care. I also currently work with a child who has selective mutism, using gentle communication techniques, visual supports, and emotional-regulation tools to help them feel safe and confident.
