A little bit about me

Hi! I'm Da'Onah, and caring for children has always been more than a job to me. I have years of experience working with children of all ages and abilities, including both neurotypical children and children across the neurodivergent spectrum. My background includes working as a nanny, in early childhood education, and supporting children with special needs. I believe every child deserves patience, encouragement, and care that is tailored to their unique personality and needs. As a nanny, I created engaging routines, planned age appropriate activities, supported learning and development, prepared meals, and maintained a safe, nurturing environment. I love building trusting relationships with both children and parents and strive to become a dependable part of every family's support system. My goal is to create a fun, loving space where children feel safe, confident, and excited to learn and grow every day.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My experience with special needs children...

I have extensive experience supporting children with special needs and neurodivergent children in both educational and one on one settings. I believe every child deserves patience, understanding, and individualized care, and I strive to create a safe, encouraging environment where each child feels valued, supported, and able to thrive. I have experience caring for children with a wide range of support needs, including autism, Down syndrome, rare genetic conditions, physical disabilities, developmental delays, and other unique medical and developmental needs.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nannying moment is when I would take my nanny kid for nature walks and to the park. He just LOVED being outside and seeing his smile light up when we were able to leave the house, especially following rainy days, were my absolute favorite moments.

Diana K. - Seeking Work in Baltimore

Part-Time Nanny Available in Baltimore, MD: Diana K.

Hello! My name is Diana, and I am almost 23 years old. I recently moved to Baltimore and will be starting pharmacy school at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy this fall. Before classes begin, I’m looking for a nannying opportunity where I can continue doing something I genuinely enjoy—working with children.

I attended a Montessori school for the first 13 years of my education, and during my sophomore year of high school I began helping there over the summers. What started as volunteering grew into becoming a teaching assistant, and for the past 5–6 years I’ve worked with children ranging from 11 months old through high school age.

Although my career is taking me into healthcare, caring for and supporting children has always been something I love. I strive to create a safe, engaging, and positive environment where children can learn, grow, and have fun!
