A little bit about me

I'm Dahlia. I'm a first-year student at the U of M. I worked as a daycare assistant and a part-time nanny/ babysitter for the past several years before coming to college, both of which I really enjoyed. I love being with kids and sharing my interests with them, and I have been hoping for the opportunity to be a full-time nanny for a while now. Some of my passions include flying small airplanes, rock climbing, gymnastics, horse-back riding, computer programming, and math and physics. I'm majoring in Aerospace Engineering and Computer Science and am also in the Air Force ROTC program. When I graduate I hope to start flying as an Air Force pilot and then go on to be a test pilot and an astronaut. In my spare time I love to read books, watch movies, hang out with friends, and be outside. Some of my favorite books are the Amelia Rules graphic novel series, the Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, and Watership Down. I also enjoy cooking and baking (particularly when chocolate is involved).
