A little bit about me

Hello , my name is Dairy like Milk & cheese ! Lol. I am an upcoming senior at Michigan State University studying Social Work and Communications. I plan on staying in the lansing area for a nursing degree in graduate school as well. I am not sure if i want to deliver babies or work as a child social worker. Children have always been my passion. I come from a big family, in which, i’ve helped raise my brother. In addition, I also have a five year old sister at home. My younger siblings are the reason why I am so motivated. They are my sunshine. If you ask someone about me, they will tell you that i am the heart of the friendship. I am loving, goofy, playful, and caring . Yet, i still know how to pay close attention to detail. My friends will also tell you that i love ice cream and will argue that sparkle is a color, even though i know it isn’t. I just love sparkles. I do not have a gender preference when it comes to babysitting. I also can ensure you that i properly social distance.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have lots of experience with children from growing up in a big family. I have babysit the neighbors children and several others. Once of age, I was employed at two daycares. I also have experience at the church with several children and when volunteering at the homeless shelter.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love to have girls day. This includes painting nails, playing kitchen, teapots, barbies, and ending it with a movie. With the boys, i tend to throw a ball , draw, or play cars. Some of the older boys that i’ve watched even tried to teach me Minecraft. In the end, i love to end the day with a movie. I believe a movie is the transitioning to a calming phase. If the child doesn’t yet want to calm down, I ease reading a book into our day. Another task that I love to do , that kids might not, is homework. I tend to love tutoring children. In which, i later quiz them for a prize.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most apart of being a nanny is bonding. It is important to me to bond with the whole family. This way the parents still feel involved.

My experience with special needs children...

I have worked with special needs children when working at a daycare. I had one child , that was literally the light in the room . Special needs children always been a big part of my heart, ask me why !

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment is always when the child runs up to me. It makes me feel like a sense of home. I feel excited to come back everyday , as much as they do. It also confirms that bond is being made. One example, is when one of my children missed me. The parent called me on a weekend to have movie night with them. When i arrived, the child ran to me. Not only did the child give me a hug, but also the parents. I felt so loved and wanted to stay longer . It was important that i bonded with the child and especially the parents.
