I collaborated with parents, therapist and other educators to implement individualized support strategies and accommodations tailored to each child’s unique needs this included using visuals, sensory tools, communication aids, and behavioral management techniques to encourage the independence and participation. One of the most fulfilling aspects of the work was building, trusting relationships and celebrating each child’s progress no matter how big or small this experience strengthen my ability to be flexible, empathetic and attentive, and it deepen my own commitment to providing care and learning opportunities for all children
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite moments were working at kids or kids was helping a quiet, shy preschooler come out of their shell at first they were very reserved and hesitant to participate in group activities. I made it a priority to build trust through gentle encouragement, one on one time and celebrating small achievements Overtime. They started opening up first with a smile then by joining storytime and eventually leading a song during circle time watching their confidence grow and seeing them laugh and play with their classmates was incredibly heartwarming. It reminded me of the real impact we have on children’s lives just by being present patient and kind that moment reaffirmed why I love working with children, helping them feel safe and empowered to be themselves.
