A little bit about me

Hi, my name is Dana Applewhite and I have worked as a nanny to four different families, children ages newborn to 8 yrs old and can provide references. I have worked in a childcare as a newborn caregiver and have completed the Child Development Accreditation course. I am also Mom to 11 kids of my own, ages 16 to 35 (2 still living at home). Most of my free time is spent with my kids and grandkids. As you have probably guessed by now, I TRULY love children! I love to read, play, sing, go on outings to the library or the park with the children I care for. I believe in making a sincere connection by talking, listening and being fully engaged with your child! My CPR certificate has expired but I am willing to update this as soon as possible. I don't drink or smoke and have a clean driving record! I get along with animals and have a beagle of my own.
