I have worked and cared for children for my neighbors, daycares, and preschools ages ranging from 6 months to 5 years of age. I am going to school for psychology in regards to Child and Adolescent development as I believe our future depends on our upcoming youth. Having the honor to work with them not only enhances my learning but also theirs as well as they will start to engage with not only myself but those around.

I enjoy doing the following with and or for children: reading, writing, coloring, doing puzzles, painting, playing sports (that they can handle), going to the park and letting them get their energy out, watching their favorite show or movie, playing catch, listening to song, and teaching them educational traits such as anything mathematical, English, reading, time, or writing.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments occurred when I took the children I cared for to a local park for a picnic. We spread our colorful blanket under the shade of a sprawling oak tree, and the laughter of kids playing nearby filled the air. I had prepared a delightful assortment of snacks—sandwiches, fresh fruit, and cookies. Little did I know that this simple outing would turn magical. As the children settled to eat, they began to share stories, their imaginations running wild with tales of adventurous pirates and heroic animals. I listened with delight, chiming in with my outlandish anecdotes. Before I knew it, we laughed over the silliness of a squirrel trying to create a spaceship out of acorns.
