I have taught all age groups of children in the past 7 years, but have recently moved on from a lead infant teacher position.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

When I was a nanny, I created a curriculum based off of themed activities that assisted the child in reaching their developmental milestones. Each week I chose a theme and we worked on gross motor and fine motor skills, language, creative arts, sensory, and music. I also loved taking the child on walks and exploring the outdoors together! I would love to teach your child this way and nurture their creative and curious minds and encourage them to thrive!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I believe that it is most important to have great communication with the child’s parents. As a nanny, we get to have a close relationship with the child and family. With close communication, we can ensure that the child is successful and cared for based off the parent’s preferences and ideals to nurture the child’s development.

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience taking care of special needs children through my experience working at the YMCA, as well as throughout my teaching career. I believe that special needs children require a compassionate teacher who is in tune with the child’s emotional needs and learning capabilities. I love working with special needs children because I believe that their unique and creative minds are their strengths and want to aid in helping them shine! It is such a rewarding job to build a strong bond with a child who is special needs and assist them in their growth.
