I discovered that I was pretty good at ad-libbing a story. The kids had fallen asleep before I finished telling a story that I was making up as I went along. That next evening, they asked, "We wanna hear what happened.. please finish your story!" Here, I was ready to pick up one of their books from their shelf to read to them.
