My experience with special needs children...
I have a now 14 yr. Old grandson who was diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome in early 2000's., his responses were so different, his views also as well as emotional responses.
He had alot of issues we struggled with but also learned from.
I've also set with special needs children, mental as well as physical as in wheel chair bound.
