Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I’ve worked in childcare since January 2021. I’ve worked my way from being the 2yo assistant teacher, to the main 2yo teacher, to teaching VPK the last two school years. I also am a big sister to two younger brothers with our insane age gaps (9 & 15) and I like to think that’s where my love for childcare started to blossom.

My experience with special needs children...
With being a teacher we get a lot of children whether they are atypical or neurodivergent. I like to think that I am very accommodating and understanding and treat both groups of these children no differently than I would anyone else. I know basic signs that I teach to all children, constantly talking even about things as I do them (picking them up, what we’re playing with, etc). And if I don’t know something I’m always intrigued to learn more!
