I have experience with newborns up to teenagers, as well as with multiples. I am also certified to teach grades k through 9. I have chosen this as my career because caring for children within an intimate family setting is truly my passion. I thrive in my field by being able to cultivate a deep and meaningful relationship getting to know each child individually and building upon their talents and interests.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love to stay active doing hikes, sports and exploring outdoors year round as well crafts, games and cooking. I was on swim team for years as well as ice skated and played hockey among many other sports.
My experience with special needs children...
I have cared for several children of varying abilities. Most recently I have worked with a toddler who was diagnosed ASD1 she made great progress in the short time I spent with her. I learned a great deal from the experience as well.
