I have extensive experience with pediatrics and geriatrics as a nurse. I was DON at a private preschool with an onsite clinic for mildly ill children. I enjoy interacting with infants and toddlers the most. I also offer weekend and overnight care in your home as well. I have been cleared through numerous background checks as a nurse and a childcare provider. I look forward to providing care with your little one.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Activities are age appropriate. I focus on where each child is for their age and focus on helping them meet or exceed their milestones. All interactions introduce and encourage yoga stretches, muscle strengthening, music & movement, and object identification. Infant sign language is always a bonus in encouraging communication. Outdoor time should be daily, weather permitting.

My favorite part of interacting with infant and children is the moment I know they trust me and will reach for me when parents are leaving. The hardest part of being a single Mom for me was the Mom Guilt and worrying about time spent away from my children. If I can replace “Mom Guilt” with “Mom Confidence” my job is done because children and dogs are excellent judges of character. My greatest joy is for your child to respond to me as a trusted friend ❤️
