I love taking children to the library for the programs they provide. I love taking them to museums, the park, the beach or the zoo. I love reading to children. I love doing art projects with children.
My experience with special needs children...
I worked for three years as a special ed aide at Jackson Elementary School in Elmhurst Illinois. While there, I took care of a child with cerebral palsy who was in a wheelchair chair. I also took care of a child with vision problems. Also, a child with Down’s syndrome and autism, as well as children with developmental delays. My oldest son also has SPD.
