A little bit about me

Hi my name is Denise. I am looking to watch children in my home full time. Monday-Friday 7am to 5 pm. I have watched the children of school teachers and that is the schedule I would want. I have a class 1 fingerprint clearance card. I would get a cpr certification card. I use to have one but let it lapse when I stopped watching kids. I do not work graveyard shifts or weekends. I would be able to start August 2021. If this works for you pleases let me know. As this would be a fulltime job I would need someone who wants me fulltime. I need to be able to count on a steady paycheck. I have one dog and chickens. I am married and have been for 23 years. I have raised 4 children and help with my grandchildren. My house always has children from age 1 to 10 around. So I know how children need space and to be able to run around.

"Denise was wonderful with my children. When she took care of them she treated them as her own. My son was born with a birth defect and she took care of him and his needs with love and care. I employed her a second time in 2014 to take care of my daughter and again she was so caring and loving toward her. I would entrust her with any of my 5 children!"

"Denise was always very honest, professional and great to work with. She made sure my son was fed nutritious meals on a regular schedule. She kept a very clean home and always gave me a heads up in advance if she needed a day off."

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have watch children in my home for many years. I watched school teacher's children. I would like to stick to that same schedule. 7am to 5pm. I supply meals and snacks. I have my CPR certification and have a level 1 fingerprint clearance card. I have space for 4 kids. My house will child safe and child friendly. I have one blue heeler dog who is around my grandchildren so she is use to kids. I have chickens also. I am married and have no one else living with us. My husband has no problem with kids running around our house. I have a car big enough for car seats although when I have kids I don't leave my house unless absolutely necessary. I do have references from other family's that have had me watch their children.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I make sure kids have a place to play inside my home and outside. I have lots of outside toys. I have coloring books and tablets that the kids can play on.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I believe that because parents have both work at times or a single parent has to work that I am in fact helping to raise their child. So I treat them like they are part of my family. They should never feel like they are on the outside. If my grandchildren are around then they all get treated the same. To me a child needs to feel save, loved and able to be themselves at all times. Sometimes they are just having a bad day and its my job to help them turn that day into a better one. All the kids that I have watched end up calling me Nonny, just like my grandchildren do. Structure and set guidelines are help for children. Routines are a must so a child feels safe and comfortable.

My experience with special needs children...

I have no experience with special needs children. And if I have 2 or more children I feel I may not be able to devote the kind of time and care they would need. I am willing to take on a child with low special needs.

The most important part about being a nanny...

During the monsoon here in Duncan we can get a lot of rain in a very short period of time. So after the rain had stopped my and 2 of my girls played in the rain puddles that were left on my cement pad. We also jumped on my daughters trampoline in the rain.
