My name is Desirea, I am 33 years old born and raised in Michigan. I moved to Colorado in 2014 and have fell in love with the mountain. I have been babysitting for local families and families on vacation for 7+ years. I currently work part time at Vail ski school, as well part time at a preschool.

In the past when I lived abroad I was a part time nanny abroad, The children all ranged in ages newborn- 4 years old. It was a great experience.

Nature base play, swim, watch movies , do arts/crafts, make forts if kids are mature enough, go on vacations with them And their families and bond more all together, go to kid art museums , sports, help kid’s express their selves through dancing, yoga, biking, skiing, park play, and roller skating.

The most important part about being a nanny...

making sure to keeping the children safe while in my care and making sure they feel comfortable with me as if they’re my own.

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience babysitting for one family that was in town on a vacation and had one boy that was 6 yes old and he had Down syndrome. I followed requested instructions from the parents in order to take care of him while they were gone and everything went so smoothly.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my sweet and favorable moments when I bonded so closely with a little kid that they started to look up to me as another motherly figure to them and say they love me although I am just their nanny. It makes me feel I am doing something right with my job taking care of them.
