"Desiree has been an incredibly responsible and energetic nanny. If she weren’t moving away, we would have happily continued working with her. She met all of our needs and always respected our child’s preferences—never forcing anything, always attentive and gentle. She knew exactly when it was time to eat, change diapers, or add layers, without me ever needing to say a word. My child looked forward to seeing her every day and learned many new words thanks to her guidance. Desiree was always punctual, reliable, and brought a warm, positive energy into our home. We were truly happy with her care and highly recommend her to any family."

The most important part about being a nanny...
Is loving, teaching, protecting and caring for your child(ren) as if they were my own.
My experience with special needs children...
From Sept '23 - February '24 I worked for a wonderful family with a 4yr old boy who mainly gets his nutrition from a feeding tube. I helped set up, run and clean his feeding tube each visit. He has a little backpack that he wore during his feeding in order to go about his regular day which consisted of playing with my son and leading an ordinary life.
Before that, I worked 5 months for a family with a 4yr old girl on the spectrum with noise sensitivity triggers. She eventually transitioned to full-time school and no longer needed my help.
I also have nephews and young cousins on the spectrum which has given much insight into that marvelous world!

The most important part about being a nanny...
It's always a joy to see their little personalities come out - whether it's through baby sign language, body language, words and actions. Caring for them through their firsts (words, steps, etc.) is always a special privilege, and as a mother myself, I know how important and uplifting it is to take and send pictures and videos throughout the day to parents/guardians.

Full-Time Nanny Available in Cottonwood, CA: Sarah R.
I’m Sarah, I’m a mom of a sweet 3 year old and I’m a wedding planner.
I’ve been the “mom type” all my life. From caring for my younger cousins as a child, babysitting as I got older, to working in daycares and nannying.
I’ve always enjoyed taking care of children, but now that I’m a mom myself I know exactly how important it is to find the right person to care for your babies. I hope we can get to know each other and when you leave your babies with me, you feel like you’re leaving them with family.
