More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have always helped my mom care for my younger siblings growing up. All 3 of them are special needs in their own way and 1 of them is nonberbal and autistic with other debilitating health conditions. I have babysat co-workers children on occasion as well.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I really enjoy doing whatever the kids want to do if that means a tea party or playing in the yard im all in. I also enjoy bringing them on outings to the zoo or a park and absolutely adore the museums. I enjoy teaching and helping them learn and grow as tiny humans.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I think the most important part of being a nanny would be helping a family. I would get to help you teach and care for your children and give them new experiences.
My experience with special needs children...
I have cared for 2 special needs children. The first one is a 20 year old non-verbal autistic child that is mentally two years old, caring for her required and still requires to be constantly aware of everything around you and making sure she has everything she needs, bathing her, making sure she had her medication on time throughout the day, and listening to what she needs as she says them in her own way. The 2nd one is also autistic with some CPTSD. I mostly helped watch and raise her when I was younger growing up. I would help ease meltdowns and tantrums and really just listen. That may have been more of being a sister than babysitting but it gave me the experience needed to help soothe upset children in a calm collected and gentle way.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moment caring for the kids I've watched was when I would be able to teach them something new and see them use it afterwards. When I taught my special needs younger sister new words and then she started stringing together more and more sentences from her minimal vocabulary to express her needs more vocally I couldn't have been more proud.

Full-Time Child Care Provider Available in Columbia, SC: Morgan P.
My name is morgan. I am a 19 year old from Texas who has always had a strong passion for working with children. As the oldest child in a single parent household, I naturally took on a caregiving role and helped raise my younger siblings while my mother worked long hours. This experience shaped my sense of responsibility, patience, and love for nurturing others. Since the age of 16, I have worked as a nanny, gaining hands on experience in childcare and child development. In the next three months, I will be relocating to South Carolina, where I look forward to continuing my journey working with children and supporting families.
Live-In Part-Time Child Care Provider Available in Columbia, SC: Xiomara S.
Hello! My name is Xiomara Speaks and I am a sophomore at Benedict College. I am going to school to major in criminal justice and minor in family/ child development. I am originally from Fort Worth, Texas where my parents still live along with my younger brother. My experience with children started with my little brother. I became his babysitters on a regular basis. From there I started working as a daycare teacher for newborns - ten year olds. I really enjoy seeing children in both an educational and non-educational setting. I love using creative play, our imaginations, be active, read, and have fun with children. I also enjoy challenging kids and adding in educational aspects to play and taking their knowledge and understanding one step further. I believe every child has such great potential and I thoroughly enjoy getting to know every child as individuals and have their needs met. Some of my activities and hobbies are arts and crafts, exercise, and exploring nature.

Part-Time Child Care Provider Available in Columbia, SC: Azalia C.
Hi my name is Azalia but everyone calls me Tiffany :) I am 23 years young and positive attitude. I love working with children ages 0-11 months and 1-3 years old. I have been an art teacher, and I have worked on a military base with children in different age groups. However, the ages listed above are my preference. I have worked with two families in the past and they were very good to me and I love their children. Since I am an artist at heart, most likely if you leave your child with me we will be doing some art, exploring outside, and learning how to do basic things and to be gentle.
I do work another job so I am willing to work short shifts and maybe one full day out of the week. No weekend availability.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions:)
