The most important part of being a nanny is truly loving what you do. Being responsible, patient, and organized matters, but so does showing care, supporting the children, and building a strong, trusting relationship with both them and their family.

I have experience with children with autism in personal, school, and nanny settings, and with children with Down syndrome in a school setting. I enjoy supporting each child’s unique needs and helping them learn and grow in a nurturing environment.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I worked with a family from the start of their children’s fourth grade year through ninth grade, and my favorite moment was their eighth grade graduation. I had been there for everything—homework help, school pickups, sports, plays, talent shows—and seeing them reach that milestone filled me with pride. It was such a heartwarming moment, and it reminded me why I love being a nanny.
