More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Currently, I am about to be a part-time student working if you become a paramedic through upstate hospital. I have eight years of experience of working with children, both at home as a nanny and in daycares. I have worked with children's with disabilities. Such as Down syndrome, deaf, and behavioral management kids.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love outdoors.
Love play games and trucking them into exercise!
I feel as though kids need at least 45 minutes of outside time. It gives them the feeling of enjoying to be outside. And not wanting to be inside all day!
I also love sensory time I feel as though it helps them get more knowledge and become smarter and to help train their brain.

The most important part about being a nanny...
Gain trust in both parents and kids.
Don't rush! It takes time for kids to get used to someone

My experience with special needs children...
My experience was special needs. Children was definitely an experience. They are so lovable and get attached very easily. As much as you joke around with them and have fun and play with them, you still would have to show them that they would still have to listen. I feel as though positive redirection is amazing and what I use. Though first meeting them, they will be nervous and you have to let them get used to you and not rush things
The most important part about being a nanny...
There was a time where I had gone outside and fell on some ice and the kids were just laughing, which made me end up laughing

Full-Time Nanny Available in Syracuse, NY: Tracy D.
Hi all! My name is Tracy. I was born and raised in the Syracuse area. I left to attend college in Arkansas and have lived down here since. As I've gotten older, the importance of being closer to family has weighed heavy on me. I'm preparing to move back to New York in the coming months and am looking to begin nannying again. It was always my favorite job, and I'm so excited at the prospect of being able to jump into it again. I’d love to get to know you and share more about my experience and also my desire to work with families in this role!
Important piece of information; my timeline for moving back to New York is flexible. So, if we end up really hitting it off and a job becomes available, it will not be incredibly difficult to move by a specific date.
