Respecting the parent's wishes. As a mom, I've learned that not everyone listens to concerns & will do best by your child. After experiencing that type of disrespect, I want to make a difference. Only a parent knows what is harming a child, and what is better for a child. For instance, my son does better with healthy food. Junk makes him angry. Older generations say he just needs more discipline... but when I prevent the junk food access, I have a happy kid. Just one example of the one watching the child is not the one who knows best, it's you. So I'll follow what you say with no hesitation. If you say no red dye, I support your decision 1,000%
