Hi, my name is Chantelle; I was born and raised in Downey, CA. I graduated in 2012 from New Mexico State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing. I have roughly nine years of experience caring for children. I am a very enthusiastic, mature, energetic, fun, loving, responsible, and reliable. I speak both English and Spanish, and I used to teach dance for about four years. I have been taking care children for a majority of my life. When I was younger, my mother operated an at home day care, and taught me at a really young age. The majority of my experience is with infants, and toddlers between the ages of 2 weeks and 4 years old. However, I would be happy to nanny for all children under the age of 16. I have been responsible for serving well-balanced meals, facilitating age-appropriate activities, providing transportation to activities, and regulating schedules (meals, naps, activities, etc.). I have experience taking care of sick children and administering medications, as directed. I have been in Texas for about 3 years now. The first two years I provided care in Hurst with two families that joined together to receive care. I started working with their amazing and loving little ones since they were about 3 months old until they were about 2 .They are two weeks apart, so in a way, it's as if I was caring for twins. For approximately the last year, I have been working for a family in Dallas. When I started the little guy was 5 months I have loved and enjoyed helping provide care for this family. Unfortunately, some unforeseen personal complications have arisen with the family and they are no longer going to be able to have a nanny. I have my own transportation, and I m looking to start ASAP. I am looking for a loving caring family that wants a full time nanny (long term).

Started caring for children in 1983 when I became a single mother of a daughter. My first Nanny position was to Nanny share with three families for about two years. I then started caring for children in single family homes for about three years. The opportunity came for me to care for children in my own home and I started an in-home day care. About 1987 I moved and went back to being a professional Nanny emploeyd through an agency. Worked as a professional Nanny for 5 years in California then moved to Texas in 1992 I moved to Texas and continued working as a professional Nanny through an agency in Dallas. Continued working as a Nanny for several years and in 2001 I revisited the In Home Day care so I could be home with my then newborn daughter. From 2001 to 2014 I ran a registered In Home Day care through the State of Texas. In January of 2015 decided to go back to working with families as a Nanny. Have been working as a temporary/part time Nanny with Mom's Best Friends and I'm currently looking for full time work. I would really like to come and partner with a special family in raising their children to be successful, well adjusted, loving children.

I am a mother of three children, grandmother of one toddler and aunt of 23 all ages children. I do not have a “job” experience as a childcare, what I have is a life experience that I would love to share with you children. I was a stay home mother for 15 years, raise my children myself, helped all my siblings when needed with their children. The way I raise them was the best way I could, always taught them to be kind, generous, grateful, respectful, responsible, hard workers, confident, support and love each other above all differences. Encourage them to be better persons every day because I believe is what the world needs the most: “good values and good people”. I also know education and learning is essential to every child, I am fully committed to teach your child/children the age appropriate educational plan.

For the past 3 years, I have had the privilege of working for two separate families taking care of one little boy and one little girl. I began taking care of the first child when he was 3 months old, up until he was 14 months. My care for him involved changing his diapers, making and cleaning his bottles, preparing meals for him, doing his laundry, reading books to him, singing songs, laying him down for naps, taking him to doctor appointments and changing his bed sheets. For different holidays and birthdays, we also did fun art projects. We went on many field trips together, including the park, community pool, Lake Ray Hubbard and various spray-grounds. I also did light house cleaning, as well as laundry. I have been taking care of the second child I nanny for a little over 2 years now. She was 6 weeks old when I began taking care of her and is now 2 1/2. We went on numerous outings including the zoo, arboretum, park, story time, Little Gym, and dance class. I also read to her everyday and have taught her proper manners. When she was learning how to communicate, I taught her the sign language for "more," "please," and "thank you." I also went on numerous errands for her parents including, going to the dry cleaners and grocery shopping.

I've been nannying since I was in High School, starting with my uncle's kids during summer break. Since then I've had about half a dozen families, most starting when the kids were infants and ending when they started school. I have also worked with teenagers and multiples, everything from a single child (with special needs) to six children (while the mother was working from home). I come from a small family (one sister and a brother who didn't live with us) and have always been a care-taker to my parents and my younger sister. Set to graduate UTD in 2016 with a double major in Child Learning & Development and Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology, before starting on my Masters in Communication Disorders.

I began watching children as a young teen at my church for Mother's Day Out. I was then the "go-to girl" for a lot of the young families at my church for their childcare needs. I was a nanny first while i attended college for a single mom with two children. I worked for them for 3 years. My most recent job that will end soon is caring for a little boy in my home. He was 3 mos. when he first came to us and is now almost 4 years. His mom is wanting to put him in pre-school so i'm looking for the right family to help.
