I am 21 years old with child care experience of all age groups through working with family relatives, church childcare and patients. Dependable, energetic, and kind. The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part is not seeing your job as work but as a collection of beautiful moments. As adults, this is our future but we are a part of the most crucial part of their lives. From childhood to adolescents they learn the most and have the greatest memories that will shape their own future. Every little thing is important to their development, whether it is the tone in our voice, or calmness in our gestures. The understanding behind this is key.

My experience with special needs children...

Working in a medical office and church as needed, I have plenty of experience with special needs children. I understand the worry a parent must have and am more than happy to be able to assist in aid for them. I understand they require more one on one help and it is important to have the patience and kindness to do so. They are a blessing as any other child, and with past education I am able to understand them from a psychology perspective as well.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Being able to see children hit their milestones and excitement in learning.
I love being able to understand their minds and thinking as they complete simple tasks. One of my favorite moments was spending time teaching a child to help me with washing a plate instead of putting him aside whilst I did it on my own. Such a small moment for me is wonderful. The idea of doing a simple task like that to them is intriguing and they are able to have fun learning to do daily tasks.
