I was briefly a substitute teacher here in Manatee County when I first moved down here. I worked as a teacher’s aide at the private elementary school on my college campus for 3 years, and also babysat one of the students after school hours until their mom could get them. I’ve gone to work with my mom when she worked at a special education elementary school and helped her while there. One of her students, a family friend’s grandson, had cerebral palsy and I eventually babysat him most days until they moved away.

Arts and crafts, reading, games, puzzles, playing tag/hide and seek, watching movies… pretty much anything they want to do that is safe, I’ll do!
