I have over 5+ years of experience working with two children with special needs. One with autism & one with muscular dystrophy!
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was when I was able to teach a toddler how to ride a bike. We would go to the park every day and practice with training wheels until one day, she confidently asked to have them taken off. I remember running alongside her as she wobbled and pedaled, and the sheer joy on her face when she realized she was riding on her own. It was such a rewarding experience to see her accomplish something new and gain confidence in her abilities.
