More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
From [phone number hidden] I nannied a girl (2 when I started) and a boy (5 years old when I started). It was so fun watching these kids grow up. Having the opportunity to be a part of that has been so rewarding.
From [phone number hidden] I nannied a newborn girl. This job was extra rewarding because I got to see this little girl grow up during her first year of life. For this job prepared meals, did housework, and cared for the baby girl by feeding her, putting her down for naps, and playing with her outside and inside.
For my two years at Winona State University, I spent around 150 hours in elementary school classrooms with students ranging from Kindergarten to sixth grade. I spent my time in these classrooms either teaching students or providing support for classroom teachers.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love reading with children and introducing them to books I used to read as a child. Another indoor activity that is enjoyable is any craft or creative activity. This is so fun because you get to see their creative side come out and develop.
Anything outside is extremely enjoyable in my opinion. Some things I've done with children in my past nanny jobs is running around in sprinklers, playing with chalk, going on walks, going to parks, and biking.

The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment was taking the newborn girl I nannied on walks. It was fun to introduce her to the outdoors for the first time. Once she got a little older, I also enjoyed taking her to the park where we would run around and play on the playground.
